From Competitive Advantage To Cooperative Advantage

Thinkers50 award winners Leon Prieto and Simone Phipps champion the power of cooperative advantage to reimagine capitalism and to re-think the purpose of corporations. This unique session will introduce the concept and lengthy lineage of cooperative advantage and its role in making ecosystems work. Leon is associate professor of management in the College of Business at Clayton State University and Simone  is associate professor of management in the School of Business at Middle Georgia State University. They are associate research fellows at the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School. They will be joined in discussion by Rod Garvin of Ernst and Young and Henry McKoy, Director of Entrepreneurship and Faculty member at North Carolina Central University's School of Business and former senior fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
