The Power Of Serendipity
Modern life can feel like an endless sequence of cancelled plans, last-minute meetings and delayed journeys. So how can we use unpredictability to our advantage? Professor Dr Christian Busch, bestselling author of The Serendipity Mindset and Director of the CGA Global Economy Program at New York University (NYU), has spent a decade as founder (Leaders on Purpose and Sandbox Network) and academic (LSE & NYU) exploring how we can use uncertainty as a pathway to more joyful, purposeful and successful lives. Anchored in a science-based framework and peppered with inspiring stories, this session captures how all of us can cultivate serendipity and turn uncertainty into opportunity, joy, and sustained success. Victoria Stoyanova will reflect on her experience developing ecosystem strategies for global companies such as Meta, Techstars, and EY, as well as coworking spaces, incubators, communities and VCs. We'll discuss how we can cultivate serendipity, community, and innovation in large and small ecosystems alike.
